Episode 2: a review of friends!! 

 Introduction 

Welcome or welcome back to my blog. Here I review series called “friends”.  “friends” is a huge sitcom series in the history of American television. The group of six friends residing in New York; trying their best to maintain life. So, let’s find out what happens when ross comes back from China.

In the end, I will suggest you one of my favourite episodes, so read till the end. 

Facts

1.The orange couch used in central perk was found in the basement of the warner bros. Studio. 

2. Season 2 is the only season of friends where there is no episode on Thanksgiving Day. 

3.Phoebe’s brother frank jr. Has a small cameo in the earlier seasons. 

4. Joey's white dog statue was originally given to Jennifer Aniston as a good luck present from her best friend  

5. When Lisa Kudrow first read the script, she thought chandler’s character was gay. 

6. When Matt LeBlanc auditioned for the role, he only had 11 dollars.

 

 Season 3

Episode 1 One with Princess Leia Fantasy 

Monica is disturbed after a breakup with Richard. Chandler and Janice are dating again which joey cannot stand. Meanwhile, Rachel tells phoebe and Monica about princess Leia fantasy’ 

Episode 2 The One Where No One's Ready 

joey and chandler clash over personal belongings and personal space. R ross desperately tries to get the gang ready for a black-tie event in the museum. 

Episode 3 The One With the Jam 

 phoebe is wrongly assumed to be Ursula by man.  Monica comes up with a ‘jam plan ‘to overcome her breakup with Richard. She makes jars and jars of jam; Monica decides she still wants to have a baby. 

Episode 4 One with the Metaphorical Tunnel 

phoebe poses as joey’s agent after she forgets to tell him about an audition. Meanwhile, ross is panicked by seeing the ben play with a barbie doll, chandler is trying to overcome his fear of commitment. 

Episode 5 The One With Frank Jr. 

 frank jr. Is left thinking phoebe works at a brothel when she attempted to introduce herself. Frank jr. Is phoebe’s half-brother. Elsewhere joey is building an entertainment centre. Whereas ross is challenged to name the five celebrities he’d like to sleep with. 

Episode 6 The One with the Flashback 

the friend's flashback three years ago when Janice asks them if any of them ever slept together. Here the travel when chandler and joey become roommates. Monica bumps into Rachel meanwhile phoebe moves out and ross learns that carol is lesbian. 

Episode 7 The One With the Race Car Bed 

joey watch as Janice kisses her husband, and ross is clashing with Rachel's father with a very bad reputation. Meanwhile, Monica gets the wrong delivery from mattress king, a race car bed that is adored by chandler. 

Episode 8 One with the Giant Poking Device 

the friends tie together a bunch of chopsticks making them into a giant poking device that they use to see if an ugly naked guy is alive or not. Meanwhile, Monica accidentally bumps ben head into the post while Rachel is babysitting. Chandler breaks up with Janice. 

Episode 9 The One with the Football   

it’s thanksgiving, friends decide to play American football. Rachel is upset that ross did not choose her for the team. Ross and Monica relive their sibling rivalry by going head-to-head. 

Episode 10 The One Where Rachel Quits 

 here ross breaks a little girl’s leg mistakenly. Rachel quits the central perks job. Phoebe is upset with joey about his current job. 

Episode 11 Chandler Can't Remember Sister  

 chandler can’t remember which of joey’s many sisters he kissed at the party. Meanwhile, Ross is suspicious about Rachel's new job. 

Episode 12 The One With All the Jealousy 

 ross becomes very jealous of Rachel's new colleague and get wrongly end, he spies on Rachel. Elsewhere Joey gets in trouble with false C.V. Monica is obsessed with a sexy busboy. 

Episode 13 Monica Richard Are Just Friends 

 Monica and Richard bump into each other at the video store, where they decide to work on their friendship, but it goes in the opposite direction. Meanwhile, phoebe dates an athlete who unintentionally keeps exposing himself. 

Episode 14 The One With Phoebe's Ex-Partner 

here chandler meets a beautiful woman name ginger who has a prosthetic leg. Phoebe is has gotten together with her former singing partner who wants to use phoebe’s signature song “smelly cat “. elsewhere, ross is jealous of mark a former colleague of Rachel. 

Episode 15 Ross & Rachel Take a Break Pt 1 

Rachel's job is keeping her busy which leads up to not celebrating her anniversary with ross. Wanting to focus on the job, Rachel suggests taking a break in their relationship. On the other hand, ross thinks Rachel has dumped him for another guy, ross hooks up with a woman from the copy shop that joey and chandler. 

Episode 16 The One with the Morning After 

 ross tries not to tell Rachel about hook up. But the unexpected happened. And now, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, and joey spend a night ear dropping. 

Episode 17 The One Without the Ski Trip 

the whole gang except ross is going on Rachel's family cabin in mountains, but on the way to the cabin, they run out of petrol. Everyone wants to call ross for help but Rachel refuses to cooperate. 

Episode 18 The One With the Hypnosis Tape 

Here chandler is trying his best to quit smoking. Phoebe is upset when she found out her 18-year-old half-brother is marrying his teacher who is 25 years older than him. Meanwhile, Monica receives a small amount.  

Episode 19 The One With the Tiny T-Shirt 

Rachel has invited ross to her place to give back his things, he thinks she wants to get back together but unfortunately, she just wants to return his things. Mark former colleague and Rachel are on a date where ross spies on them.  

Episode 20 The One With the Dollhouse    

Chandler is dating Rachel's boss, affecting Rachel‘s job. Meanwhile, Joey thinks he is found his soulmate. Monica has inherited a beautiful dollhouse which leads to phoebe making one. 

Episode 21 The One With a Chick and a Duck 

Monica is facing the problem of deciding if she wants to work for Pete. Joey and chandler buy very unique pets. Elsewhere ross makes sacrifices for Rachel. 

Episode 22 The One With the Screamer 

Ross and Rachel bring their respective date to joey’s opening night. Joey play gets terrible reviews, but co-star comforts him. 

Episode 23 The One With Ross's Thing  

Phoebe finds herself between two guys. Ross develops some weird skin growth that even doctors cannot identify. Monica’s boyfriend surprises her by not proposing. 

Episode 24 Ultimate Fighting Champion 

Friends overhear the scandalous conversation at central perk. Chandler’s male boss is too friendly for his own good. Monica is dating a guy who wants to be the ultimate fighting champion. 

Episode 25 The One at the Beach 

Friends are at the beach house which phoebe has invited everyone to stay. She meets someone who knows about her family, Rachel is jealous of ross’s girlfriend. Meanwhile, joey nags the friends into agreeing to play a party game that requires the participant to gradually takes off items of clothing. 

I know season four has a storyline but to maintain uniformity I have written it in episode format.

Season 4 

Episode 1 The One with the Jellyfish 

Monica is stung by jellyfish and has to resort to drastic measures to relieve the pain. Ross is dating Rachel again but he has to go through eight pages front and back. Phoebe and her real mother get to know each other. 

Episode 2 The One with the Cat 

Phoebe thinks the cat is the reincarnation of her mother lily. Meanwhile, Chandler and Joey lose all their furniture, just happen to live in a boat. Ross and Rachel broke up again. 

Episode 3 The One with the Cuffs 

Monica caters for a party for her mother and joey can only afford one book in an encyclopaedia set. Chandler has a fling with Rachel's boss which leads him handcuffed without his pants in the office. 

Episode 4 One with the Ballroom Dancing  

Ross and Chandler can't get out of their gym membership even though neither of them wants to exercise. Phoebe loses her job for kissing a client. Meanwhile, Joey ends up taking ballroom dancing. 

Episode 5 One with Joey's New Girlfriend 

Ross found out his new date thinks he is a babysitter, chandler falls for joey’s new date. Phoebe is trying to catch a cold to improve her voice. Rachel's new college boyfriend steals. 

Episode 6 The One with the Dirty Girl 

Monica and phoebe decide to go for cater business when they catered for the funeral where widow tries not to pay, ross’s date with Cheryl goes awesome when he kills the rat in her apartment. 

Episode 7 Chandler Crosses the Line 

Chandler buys new furniture for the apartment since the robbery left them with just a canoe, chick and duck. He also confesses his feeling to Kathy after she splits with joey. Ross found his lost musical skills which are appreciated by phoebe alone. 

Episode 8 The One with Chandler in a Box 

 The friends have a Thanksgiving meal together. Monica is reminded of Richard when she tries to kiss his son. Joey frees Chandler from the box that he's being kept in to stop Kathy from leaving him. 

Episode 9 One Where They're Going to Party  

Rachel's boss dies before making her junior buyer. Monica upsets phoebe by stopping the catering business before it even started after she gets the head chef job. 

Episode 10 The Girl from Poughkeepsie 

Monica’s plan to asserts some authority at her new restaurant goes away. Ross is struggling to maintain a long-distance relationship. Chandler intends to find Rachel a date that goes in the wrong direction. 

Episode 11 The One with Phoebe's Uterus 

Phoebe's brother (Giovanni Ribisi) asks her to carry a baby for him and his wife; Chandler gets lessons in love; Joey finds himself in a class struggle. 

Episode 12 The One with the Embryos 

Phoebe undergoes an implant procedure to become a surrogate mother for her brother and his wife. Monica and Rachel lost their apartment to guys in a trivia game. 

Episode 13 The One with Rachel's Crush 

Rachel gets a handsome client on a date, while chandler gets jealous which leads to having a problem with his girlfriend. Meanwhile, guys and girls make a bet against apartment swap. 

Episode 14 The One with Joey's Dirty Day 

Rachel regrets asking ross for help as he ends up spending the weekend in the Vermont cabin with Emily his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Charlton Heston finds joey in a compromising position during the movie.  

Episode 15 The One with All the Rugby 

Ross takes up rugby to impress Emily (Helen Baxendale); Chandler sets up a ruse to avoid his former girlfriend Janice (Maggie Wheeler). 

Episode 16 The One with the Fake Party 

To become better acquainted with her crush Joshua, Rachel inadvertently thwarts Ross's plans. Phoebe's pregnancy cravings evoke a sympathetic response from Joey. 

Episode 17 The One with the Free Porn 

On Monica's advice ross confess his love to Emily just before she departs for London. Emily’s answer is not assuring. Elsewhere, phoebe receives happy news about her pregnancy, while chandler and joey are glued to their tv in fear of losing the free pornography channel. 

Episode 18 The One with Rachel's New Dress 

Rachel takes a provocative pose to get Joshua into a romantic mood, but her plans go awry. Chandler and Joey are at odds to persuade Phoebe to name one of her triplets after them. 

Episode 19 The One with All the Haste 

 Ross tries to keep Emily from returning to London, and Monica and Rachel attempt to win back their apartment. 

Episode 20 One with All the Wedding Dresses 

Rachel suggests Joshua marry her even though they have only been on four dates because of ross’s engagement announcement. Meanwhile, Monica and phoebe pick up Emily's wedding dress from the shop, but Monica tries it on and loves it so much that she refuses to take it off. So, in the end, phoebe buys a new one and Rachel wears her old dress to have a good time. 

Episode 21 The One with the Invitation 

Rachel and Ross reminisce separately about when they dated each other, and the friends get invitations to Ross's wedding, but not all of them are going. 

Episode 22 One with the Worst Best Man Ever 

Chandler and Joey vie for the position of best man for Ross' wedding ceremony. Ross chooses Joey after Chandler inadvertently insults Ross, but Joey loses Ross' treasured wedding ring. Elsewhere, Phoebe suffers extreme mood swings because of her pregnancy. 

Episode 23 The One with Ross's Wedding Pt 2 

Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Ross go to London for the wedding where Joey meets Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. 

Episode 24 The One with Ross's Wedding Part 2 

Rachel is trying her best to reach London before ross gets married to confess her love to him. Meanwhile, ross parents fight with Emily's parents.

Episode 1: review!!

               

                             Episode 1: a review of friends!!

In this blog I will be reviewing the sitcom show " FRIENDS " season 1 and season 2 . This is my view about this unique friendship budding in New York. This show is the version of our comfort food. Breathtaking, show melded with impeccable comedy, alluring romance and fantastic roller-coaster emotions. Honestly, I have never experienced such type of friendship but I hope to have this one day. This is an ideal form of friendship we a dreamed of having. A little stupid, fully crazy and amazingly funny friendship. 

Ross: Paleontologist, good father, good brother, true lover, sweet, caring.

Rachel: fashionable, drama queen, beautiful, somehow selfish. 

Joey: true friend, foodie, flirty, laid back, funny, actor, little stupid. 

Chandler: statistical analysis and data reconfiguration OR TRASNPOSTER, sarcastic, witty, damn funny, weird, true lover. 

Pheobe: masseuse, songwriter, vegan, infectious smile, interesting. 

Monica: chef, sporty, obsessed with cleaning and organizing stuff, daughter and sister, true apartment holder.

Season 1

As this season contains stand-alone episodes, l will state special moments of each episode. 

Episodes 1 and 2: pilot and the one with a sonogram. P

 The show literally starts with Rachel entering a central perk cafe in her wedding dress. In search of Monica, her long lost best friend. After Rachel leaves her fiance Barry aka Mr Potato head looks alike at the altar, she starts leaving with Monica trying to be independent. At the same time, Ross's ex-wife is pregnant with his child.

Episode 3: The one with the thumb. 

Monica struggling with her latest boyfriend in terms of breakup.

Episode 4: one with George Stephanopoulos.

Where hot guy was introduced to women and boys turns up to hockey game to take mind of Ross and Carol anniversary. 

Episode 5: East German laundry detergent. 

Where Ross and Rachel have their laundry together as a date where Ross got hit by a washing machine. 

Episode 6: The one with the butt.

Here Joey got a double role to be butt naked. Chandler's fantasies are coming true. 

Episode 7: The one with the blackout. 

Chandler is stuck with beautiful women in the bank due to a power cut. Joey comes to know about Monica's affection towards him.

Episode 8: one where Nana dies twice. 

Here Monica's and Ross grandmother died twice one where they wrongly declared her and the second when she actually dies after Monica and Ross's visit. 

Episode 9: The one where the underdog gets away. 

Where the gang gets locked up on the rooftop on Thanksgiving and Ross wants to talk to his unborn child.

Episode 10: The one with the monkey. 

The gang decides to celebrate a new year without a date at Monica and Rachel's flat. Everyone brought a date except Ross who brought his new pet, Marcel. 

Episode 11: The one with Mrs Bing.

Here Chandler's mom is kissed by Ross. He tries to lie but eventually confesses about it.

Episode 12: The one with the dozen lasagna 

Where Rachel's boyfriend tries to seduce phoebe which ends up Rachel's relationship. Monica lasagnas have no place to go. 

Episode 13: The one with the boobies.

Chandler accidentally walks in when Rachel is passing across the living room after the shower. So Rachel tries to get back to Chandler but ends up wrongly. 

Episode 14: The one with the candy heart. 

It's valentine day on the show, where Ross's ex-wife highs jack Ross's first date after nine years. Whereas girls celebrate the day by burning mementoes of past relationships. 

Episode 15: The one with the stoned guy.

Here Monica is applying for a new job where she encounters a stoned guy.

Episode 16 and 17: The one with two parts, part 2.

Phoebe's identical twin Ursula plays a major role in the gangs life in this Episode. And second part consists of Rachel not having any medical insurance which leads to the exchange of names. 

Episode 18: The one with all the poker. 

Where girls lose all their money to guys. Ross had won the game of poker but he decided not to show his cards instead. Let Rachel win with a full house. 

Episode 19: Rachel accidentally left the apartment door open which accidentally let Marcel, Ross's pet monkey escape. It leads to chaos. 

Episode 20: one with the evil orthodontist. 

Here Rachel tries to get back with her ex-fiance,  even though he is engaged to her best friend Mindy. 

Episode 21: The one with the fake Monica. 

Someone is pretending to be Monica, using her credit card numbers. 

Episode 22: The one with the ick factor. 

Monica is dating a high school student. Ross is mistaken for a male prostitute. 

Episode 23: The one with the birth. 

Carol gives birth to little Ben. Meanwhile, Joey becomes friend with unmarried pregnant woman and help her. 

Episode 24: The one where Rachel finds out. 

On Rachel's birthday, where Ross leaves for China she finds out Ross's love for her and tries to chase him.

Season 2

As this season contains stand-alone episodes, I will state special moments of each episode. 

Episode 1: one with Ross's new girlfriend. 

Here Ross returns home with his new girlfriend without knowing the fact about Rachel. 

Episode 2: The one with the breast milk

Ross is on dad's duty as Carol and Susan are away. Here we can see how Ross buildup his mind to drink breast milk.

Episode 3: The one where heckles dies.

Downstair resident Mr heckles dies in the foot fight with a gang. After his death gang clean up his apartment. 

Episode 4: The one with phoebe's husband. 

Here everyone finds out Phoebe is married to a gay Canadian dancer, Ross's relationship with his girlfriend is in danger. 

Episode 5: one with 5 steaks and an eggplant.

Salaries divide the group in two. Ross, Monica and Chandler- group 1 and phoebe, Joey, Rachel - group 2. Meanwhile, hilarious things happened with Chandler and his date.

Episode 6: The one with the baby on the bus. 

Joey and Chandler babysat Ben but O! So happen to leave him on a bus. Do they find him? And if they do, was it there Ben?

Episode 7: The one where Ross finds out. 

Rachel drunk on a date, calls Ross to get closure and telling his machine she is over him. Meanwhile, Ross and Julie (Ross's girlfriend) decide to have a cat.

Episode 8: The one with the list. 

Here Ross makes a pros and cons list about Rachel and Julie. But unfortunately, Rachel happens to see the negative quality list.

Episode 9: The one with phoebe's dad.

Phoebe finds out her father's image is just a generic photograph that comes with pictures. Monica's Christmas party is giving away a summer vibe due to heater malfunction. 

Episode 10: The one with the Russ.

Rachel dates a guy named Russ who is identical to Ross. Joey gets an acting job on ' Days of our Lives ' which turns a great hit.

Episode 11: The one with the lesbian wedding. 

Here Carol (Ross's ex-wife) and Susan are preparing for their wedding with help of Ross.  And Rachel's mother visits the girls and reveal her divorce. 

Episode 12: The one after the Superbowl.

Joey is blooming in his acting career, that leads to date one of his fan which turns out to be crazy. Meanwhile, Ross flies out to San Diego to meet his pet, Marcel. 

Episode 13: The one after the Superbowl. P-1

The gang has decided to pay a visit to Marcel ( Ross's monkey ). Here Chandler meets his former schoolmate on a set of an upcoming movie, where Marcel is playing a role with van Damme.

Episode 14: The one with the prom video. 

When Monica's parents demolish her old room to install a gym, they found an old prom video of her and Rachel. This proves Ross is in love with Rachel. Meanwhile, Joey gives Chandler a hideous bracelet as a token of his friendship and is mortally offended to hear Chandler saying how terrible it is. 

Episode 15: Ross and Rachel.....you know. 

Here Monica falls in love with a doctor, but the big problem is that he's old enough to be her father. Meanwhile, Joey buys two reclining leather armchairs with the money from his ' days of our lives.

Episode 16: The one where Joey moves out. 

Monica's and Dr Richard Burke were exposed at Monica's dad's birthday party. Chandler and Joey are arguing about the apartment. 

Episode 17: The one where Eddie moves in. 

Joey does a big move and shifts to his new apartment. Meanwhile, Chandler is getting frustrated with his new roommate. This is where "smelly cat" was introduced. 

Episode 18: The one where Dr Ramoray dies.

Chandler's new roommate Eddie becomes too annoying to cope with. On the other hand, Joey loses his job " Dr temporary" from the TV show due to a fan magazine. 

Episode 19: The one where Eddie won't go.

Rachel and Monica,  " basically gang" learns about girl power and Rachel tries to argue with Ross about it. Elsewhere Joey is facing a huge problem with bills.

Episode 20: The one where old yeller dies.

Phoebe's world perspective changes when she understood how old yeller ends. Joey and Chandler are impressed by Richard and starts hanging out with him. Meanwhile, Rachel freaks out about Ross's future plans.

Episode 21: The one with the bullies.

Rachel and Joey are helping phoebe finding her original dad, in the process she finds his second wife and another family member. On the other hand, Monica is trying her luck out in stocks, Ross and Chandler come across as bullies.

Episode 22: The one with two parties. 

It's Rachel's birthday, Monica decide to arrange a party but everything goes wrong when her parents turn up unexpectedly. Which leads to two parties. In this Joey kissed Rachel's mother while handling the situation. 

Episode 23: The one with chickenpox.

Phoebe's navy boyfriend visits New York but unfortunately, phoebe catches chickenpox at Ben's birthday party. 

Episode 24: Barry and Mindy's wedding. 

Chandler is surprised to meet his interested woman. Where Rachel serves as a bridesmaid at the wedding of her ex-fiance Barry and her former best friend Mindy. You have to watch how embarrassing it was. 

Most stands out episodes are:

Season 2: Episode 2, episode 6 and 7.

So, this was the end of the first episode of my series blog. Season 3 and 4 are the same as above. I hope you guys enjoyed this.

                                 Review series!!!!

        

          This is the introduction blog about the new series I'm going to start very soon. In this series, I will be reviewing the shows that are worth watching. I will be discussing special moments, learnings and kick out stories. 

           Season 1 will start with a very classic and all-time favourite show FRIENDS!!. Season 1 will contain 5 episodes that will help you out in getting general information about the show. Its pros and cons along with stand out moments.

            It's an American television sitcom show created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. The show was aired on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004. Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Mathew Perry and David Schwimmer is the ensemble cast. friends revolve around six friends living in Manhattan,  New York. It tells us the importance of friendships and love altogether. 

            I, as a budding writer, want people to understand my perspective. I want to create something people are going to talk about. I want it to shock you enough for you to think it through rationally, before having your views on what's happening. That's what my yellow thoughts are about. To create your own healthy point of view.  The world is so diverse that it's OKAY  to have our own points of view.
