episode 3: a review of friends!!

Introduction 

Welcome or welcome back to my blog. Here I review series called “friends”. ‘friends’ is an easy and hopeful show, portraying the carefree and youthful life of six friends. This show owns many hearts around the world. People are in love for their crazy, weird yet homey friendship. Let's start before I start my monologue (in writing), let's see if Rachel has reached London whether she accomplished her task.

In the end, I will suggest you one of my favourite episodes, so read till the end.  

Facts    

1. There was a connection between FRIENDS and Home Alone. How? Monica and Chandler bought the house owned by the McCallister's in the movie. 

2. NBC didn't quite like the show at first. It described the pilot as "not very entertaining, clever, or original". 

3. The cast took a trip to Las Vegas together before the show aired. 

4. Jennifer Aniston was the last of the main six to officially join the cast. 

5. Like Monica, Cox was apparently quite a neat freak on set. 

6. In what seems like a simple writing goof, Ross didn't age for three years. 

7. It received Emmy nominations in 1999 for Outstanding Comedy Series  

8. The first lines of the season are "Friends, family..." spoken by the minister at Ross and Emily's wedding.  

9. In all of her appearances in Season 5, Helen Baxendale was pregnant.  

10. Many fans of the series consider season fifth and the fourth to be the best seasons of the show. 

11. season 6 is the only season where all characters who were introduced in it, never reappeared in the remaining seasons.  

12. Season 6 is the only season where Janice doesn't physically appear, although her voice is heard through the mix-tape that Chandler gives to Monica on their anniversary in "The One with Unagi". 

Season 5 

Ross has upset Emily, but during the reception, she punches him and flees. Monica and Chandler spend the entire reception trying to find a place to sleep together, Rachel is determined to tell ross about her feelings, meanwhile, Emily's drunken father prevents ross from meeting Emily. 

Ross is hoping for Emily to show up at the airport for their honeymoon to Greece. In the meantime, he accidentally meets Rachel who is going home, and decide to ask her after the last boarding call to join him in Greece.  unexpectedly Emily does show up last minute and see both of them boarding the plane. She runs off, and ross chases her leaving Rachel alone on the flight to Greece. Monica and Chandler are caught in a passionate embrace but try to prove it was innocent, after sleeping with each other while in London, Monica and Chandler decide to establish a secret relationship. Joey is the first to find out about Monica and Chandler's relationship early in the season after they take a secret vacation together. On the other hand, Phoebe prepares to give birth but the doctor makes her nervous.  

Once Rachel returns from Greece, she confesses her feelings to ross. They both find it hilarious that Rachel is in love with a married man whose wife won't pick up his calls. Ross tries his best to find Emily by calling Emily's family members, sending them flowers and stuffed animals. Finally, Emily agrees to get back together if ross decides to move to England. But he abolishes this offer in the account of ben. She agrees to move to the US but on the condition that he must move into a new apartment and cut Rachel out of his life. Joey gets emotional when Ross decides to move out of the old apartment.  

An exchange between Ross and Rachel threatens to break up the friends. ross finds he can't stop being friends with Rachel and tells Emily this. Emily's inability to trust Ross results in her deciding to end their marriage. Emily's cousin then kicks him out of his new apartment, leaving him homeless although Chandler and Joey agree to let him stay while he finds somewhere else to live. Rachel begins dating a man who lives in the apartment building, Danny but stops seeing him after she realizes he has an inappropriate relationship with his sister. Ross begins to suffer anger management problems following his divorce and homelessness and eventually is forced to take a hiatus at work after screaming at his boss for eating his "moist maker" sandwich. Eventually, he moves into Ugly Naked Guy's now vacant apartment across the street from Monica's. sometime later, Emily leaves a message on Ross' answering machine and wonders if the divorce was a mistake - even though she is set to marry another man. Rachel accidentally deletes the message, but still tells Ross about it. Ross decides against calling Emily, not wanting to reunite with his paranoid and controlling ex-wife. 

The friends make their New Year resolutions, and Joey tries to arrange for Chandler to kiss Monica at midnight at a New Year's Eve party. Monica is annoyed when she discovers Chandler is ingratiating himself with his new boss Doug. He even has a fake laugh which he uses whenever Doug cracks a joke. Rachel finds out mid-season, she is obsessed with finding out the gossip between Monica and Chandler after overhearing a sexy conversation between them, and Ross astounds everyone with his new girlfriend, a blast from the past. 

At her grandmother's funeral, Phoebe is astounded to meet her biological father, Frank Sr, who she has been trying to find for years. On the other side, Chandler tells perfectionist Monica that she is useless at massage, and Joey's fondness for an expensive bag loses him an audition.  

At the same time, Joey is afraid to end his relationship with a diminutive woman who punches him hard every time she thinks something is funny. Phoebe finds a police officer's badge and goes on a spree of arrests until she meets up with the owner; Joey thinks he's in love with Monica; Ross buys a couch but won't pay to have it delivered. 

Rachel finds herself a job at ralph Laurens. All goes well until she inadvertently kisses the interviewer, and at the second interview she mistakenly berates him for his `wrong intentions’. Rachel's new boss and a colleague both smoke. When Rachel discovers that they make business decisions without her in the smoking room, she pretends to be a serious smoker so she can be part of the discussion.  

Phoebe is the second to last person to find out about the relationship when she sees them through the window of Ross' new apartment. Joey, Rachel and Phoebe confront Monica and Chandler about their deception by playing a trick on them, and Chandler and Monica finally admit that they have fallen in love with each other. Ross also finds out about Monica and Chandler's relationship after seeing them through the window of his new apartment. After realizing that Monica and Chandler are actually in love, he is After sleeping with each other while in London, Monica and Chandler decide to establish a secret relationship. Joey is the first to find out about Monica and Chandler's relationship early in the season after they take a secret vacation together. happy for them. 

The gang are enjoying a ride in Phoebe's boyfriend's cop car until a gunshot rings out. After Gary confides in Monica that he intends to ask Phoebe to move in with him, Monica immediately breaks her promise to him and tells Phoebe, who worries that it is too early in the relationship. She persuades Chandler to talk to Gary, hoping that Chandler's fear of commitment will rub off on him, but Gary's enthusiasm overwhelms even Chandler. 

Joey receives a role in a movie filming in Las Vegas. Chandler is going to drive to Nevada with him, but before they leave New York, Chandler accidentally reveals that he doesn't think the movie is Joey's big break and Joey kicks him out of the car. When he arrives in Las Vegas, he finds out the movie has run out of funding and been put on hold indefinitely. He gets a job as a gladiator character at a hotel and casino. Chandler and Monica begin to wonder if they are seeing signs that are telling them that they should get married. However, when they get to the chapel, Ross and Rachel run out, having gotten married.

Season 6 

Hung-over Rachel and Ross wonder if they got married while in Vegas. the two decide to get an annulment, but Ross decides he doesn't want to have three failed marriages behind him and doesn't get one, although he tells Rachel he did. After a few weeks, Rachel finds out the truth and is furious, and drags him down to the courthouse to sort it out. When the judge refuses to give them an annulment due to their past relationship, they are forced to get a divorce instead. 

Joey is upset to learn that Chandler plans to move out to live with Monica, but Rachel seems strangely unaffected by the news.  she originally intends to move in with Ross, but she changes her mind on discovering they're still married and instead moves in with Phoebe. Phoebe's apartment catches on fire, leading Phoebe to move in with Chandler and Monica while Rachel lives with Joey. 

 Later in the season, Phoebe's unorthodox, attention-getting jogging style embarrasses running mate Rachel. The guys get excited about Joey's new roommate, a dancer from Australia. Ross overdoses on tooth whitener before a date leads him to use make-up for the first time, Phoebe tells Rachel that she kissed Ralph Lauren at Rachel's workplace, and Joey's new roommate wants to redecorate, chandler is not so happy about these changes with joey.  

On Thanksgiving, Chandler tries to gain favour with Monica's parents Jack and Judy, but an old secret involving Ross causes problems that he is unaware of. Meanwhile, Rachel proves she is no domestic goddess when she creates a quite disastrous dessert, joey is the only one who loved it.  

Joey plots the perfect opportunity to kiss Janine, while Ross and Monica resurrect their silly high school dance routine for a television special. Joey, still a struggling actor, begins a relationship with Janine his new roommate, only for it to fall apart when she doesn't like Monica and Chandler. Desperate for money, he briefly works at Central Perk where he gets in trouble for giving free stuff to female customers until he gets a lucky break and lands the leading role on a cable television series called "Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E.", where he stars alongside a robot. 

Rachel's sister Jill comes to town after her father cuts her off. Ross and jill briefly date. Realizing this affects Rachel's and his relation he ends it.  

Rachel tells her friends about Barry and Mindy's impending divorce and wonders what life would have been like if she had married him. This leads the others to speculate how their lives could have turned out too.  

In the second part, showing what could have happened to the friends had their lives taken different paths, Carol and Ross decide to have a threesome to spice up their marriage, while Rachel goes to Joey's and kisses him and then catches Barry cheating. 

 Later in the season, Ross has positive news on the job front, as he becomes a professor of palaeontology at New York University, dates one of his students, Elizabeth Stevens. Her father, Paul Stevens, disapproves of the relationship while beginning a short-lived relationship with Rachel. Neither couple lasts very long. 

Chandler decides to propose to Monica. Phoebe is the only one to know, she helps him in choosing the ring. Wanting the proposal to be a surprise, he tells Monica that he opposes the marriage. Monica considers going back to Richard Burke, who confesses to her that he still loves her and is willing to have children with her. She decides to continue her relationship with Chandler when she learns that he has been planning on proposing to her. She tries to propose to him, but breaks down in tears and cannot finish. Chandler asks her to marry him, and she says yes.
